Having trouble with your service?

Before you report your trouble, try these helpful tips. Sometimes a trouble can have a quick fix!

INTERNET

If your internet is not working on your wireless or wired connection, your first step is to reboot (power on/off) all of your connected devices such as phones, computers, and your router. The router is what provides wireless connection to most devices. Reboot the router by simply unplugging it for 15 seconds then plugging back in to power.

If internet via WiFi connection is out after rebooting your router, the next step to troubleshooting is to bypass your router. To bypass, you will need a device (such as a laptop or desktop) that has an ethernet port. You will need to have one end of the ethernet cable plugged directly from the RTC jack to your device.

If internet service is still out after rebooting router and/or bypassing your router, please contact our Level 1 Support team.

CABLE TELEVISION

If your cable television is showing a black screen, be sure that your Set Top Box is turned on and the green light is glowing. Also check to be sure that your remote control AND television are on the correct input.

If your CATV service involves a Set Top Box or DVR Set Top Box, please try to reboot and allow your STB or DVR to go through a reboot process. To reboot a STB or DVR – unplug the power for approximately 10 seconds and then plug back in to power.

These simple steps can save you the cost of a service call. If your TV is still giving you fits, please contact our Level 1 Support team.

TELEPHONE

If you do not have a dial tone on your line, your first step is to make sure that the cord is firmly connected from the jack to the phone or the cordless phone base.

The next step in troubleshooting phone issues is to unplug all connected phones and then plug them back in one at a time, this can help clear up line issues.

If this does not resolve the issue, please report the trouble you are having.
